I finished this yesterday for one of my NEWT's and I gave it 4 stars.
My reason for not giving it 5 stars was because it didn't like blow me away. Like it was amazing and good but it wasn't crazy good.
Does that make any sense?
But I'm having such book hangover right now I'm debating my star rating. Maybe once I continue on with the series and eventually reread it, I'll raise it but this book hangover is too real.
I still have no idea how to properly pronounce the main character's name but that's fine. I've been pronouncing it as Farrah but its probably more like Fairy. Oh well, just goes to show that I cannot English.
I can see how this is a Beauty and the Beast re-telling, which was an amazing part of the story itself. But it was also very different and so amazing and wonderful.
I love all the characters and I do have the s\urge to either re-read it now or carry on to the next book but I can't because NEWT's.
I'll pick it up immediately after.
If you'd like me to read/ review a book, just leave a comment below! I'll try not to give too many spoilers or give too much away while reviewing the books, but if I do, also let me know so I can give warnings to anyone who hasn't read the books before. I appreciate all feedback, but please be respectful on constructive criticism.
Everyone's opinions are valuable so please don't make anyone feel terrible for having their own opinion on a book. Just because it's different from yours does not mean it's the wrong opinion.
