23. Shadow Kiss - Richelle Mead

Shadow Kiss by Richelle Mead is a book that messed with my heart in more ways than one.

If you have read this book, you'll know why. Rose really grew up after the last events in the previous book, Frostbite. So here in Shadow Kiss, most of her actions don't surprise me.

The final assignment they have to do as a class is really, really cool to me for some reason. I just loved the idea and loved everything that happened during it.

Lissa is a lot less hopeless in this book and I actually loved her a lot. After reading this one it made me feel like she was kind of damsel in distress-like in the previous two books.

Christian steps up to the plate and I love that him and Rose get along so well after some time. I mean, I've always loved him from the start but ever since he started to fight with fire power, he's become super badass. Especially a little later on in the book. I won't spoil it for you.

Eddie has become probably one of my favourite characters. I just feel terrible about him and his experiences in Frostbite and I just want to hug him. Even though I know that he's a strong 'guardian' (we all know he's stepped up to the plate and earned that title).

Rose's mom is actually awesome. I love her even if Rose doesn't.

Dimitri FINALLY. That's all I've got to say. But also later on he makes me cry. Like balled my eyes out crying and had to put the book down for a bit. Actually I kind of feel like crying over it right now.

I honestly have no idea how there are three books after this one.

Well I get the fourth one (which I am starting tomorrow) and what has to happen in it. But I don't see how there are to be two more after that. I guess I'll just have to read them to find out.

At the end of the book, a lot of things happen.

I fell in love with Adrian, cried my eyes out cause Dimitri, and wanted to punch Rose in the face. I wanted to hug Lissa and reassure her about everything and I didn't want to say goodbye to Mason finally.

And that is all I'm going to say.

I rated this book 4 stars, more like 4.5, on my goodreads.

I'll try not to give too many spoilers or give too much away while reviewing the books, but if I do, also let me know so I can give warnings to anyone who hasn't read the books before. I appreciate all feedback, but please be respectful on constructive criticism.

Everyone's opinions are valuable so please don't make anyone feel terrible for having their own opinion on a book. Just because it's different from yours does not mean it's the wrong opinion.
