I'll be honest, it took me a while to read this one because I read it last year while going through college. I read it every morning on the train in the freezing cold November winter and that was it. So some days I really didn't read it at all.
Also, the movie really drew me into reading this book in the first place. Yes, I am guilty as one of those people sometimes. And I've seen the movie so many times I can't remember all the differences even though there really were only few.
Do not fight me against movies and books and their differences and similarities. I refuse to get involved with those.
I hate them more than anything because I have to listen to my brother point them all out to me in the movie theatre. So don't even start with me.
The character Rose, whose point of view the series is written in, is probably one of my favourite characters of all time. She's hardcore and badass but can't keep her emotions in check and I love that so much. So sometimes her anger is let loose or her sarcasm and it's fantastic to read.
I always have a hard time not laughing when reading this series in public.
Its a very easy and lively read and I know of so many people who would love to read it. I really do love the villain in this one too. I won't tell you who it is but as much as I do hate them for being evil, I can see why they did what they did and that makes me really hate them even more.
The whole world they all live in is in our world but its completely seperate and I love that.
There's probably more I want to say about this book but I just can't think of it right now. I just really loved it a lot.
(Sorry for the bad photo)
If you'd like me to read/ review a book, just leave a comment below! I'll try not to give too many spoilers or give too much away while reviewing the books, but if I do, also let me know so I can give warnings to anyone who hasn't read the books before. I appreciate all feedback, but please be respectful on constructive criticism.
Everyone's opinions are valuable so please don't make anyone feel terrible for having their own opinion on a book. Just because it's different from yours does not mean it's the wrong opinion.
